Carefully composed images, striking sound collages, no dialogues: MILLTOWN, MONTANA is an essayistic foray into a terrific landscape, albeit mistreated by man. With tremendous visual language Rainer Komers documents a region that was once the largest mining area in the USA, but now seems be locked into a phase of post-industrial stagnation.
