No Circus portrays 8-year old boy Dominik. He lives in Berlin-Hellersdorf, a troubled suburb, with his two younger sibblings and single mother. His mother, unemployed, is overburdened with raising her children. She entrusts Dominik with tasks that she is unable to fulfill. Dominik takes on more and more responsibilities in the family and helps his mother to manage the difficult everyday life.
Born in 1979, since 2002 works as a freelancer in Berlin;
since 2003 studies at the camera and documentary departments at the Film Academy Baden-Wurttemberg
