In the garden of my grandparents stood a cherry tree, which grew a little taller every year. I too was still growing at that time, and so did the world population and the gross domestic product. I had the feeling I would keep growing forever. Not until something began to grow inside my grandmother as well, I started to have doubts. An autobiographical documentary about the utopia of unlimited growth.

Florian Heinzen-Ziob

Born 1984 in Düsseldorf;
2006–2012 studied media arts and film directing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne;
2013–2017 he produced and directed the feature-length documentary films ORIGINAL COPY and KLASSE DEUTSCH;
founder of the production company polyphem;
works as an independent director and producer in Cologne
